And the (almost) final of the outside of our home

The "almost" part is that we still have to paint the front steps black, but it's just been too cold. We're having our realtor come by the house tomorrow to assess whether we're ready to list yet or not. Can't WAIT!

/,BFDE2QQQI am so excited! Only 6 days till we party!!! I can't wait to see everybody, especially Alex. Shaun talks about seeing him about as much as he talks about going to Disneyworld.

So I am having more dizziness, and they still can't figure out why. I was supposed to have a tilt table test today (tttt) but I was told to fast for 2 hours and when I got there they said 6 hours. I was very mad because I had to jump through so many hoops to get the kids watched and have Steve there with me as my designated driver after no sleep last night, and having 3 (count them 3) patients die on him. 0110

This is the first stage of "during" - once the wall paper came down as far as I was able and/or willing to do. It remained this way for a shameful 2 or so years...

Then phase 2 of "during" lasted much less time - a couple of weeks? A guy in our ward is a contractor, and he came in and gave us relief from turquoise paradi... I mean prison! And a guy Frank knows came in and plastered and sanded and painted (rinse and repeat...) the walls. We had dust EVERYWHERE!!! I could taste the plaster that whole day. YUCK!

And here's the final product with paper-free walls, turquoise-free, um, everything... as it should be. Shame that we fix it up so nice for someone else to enjoy it... Actually, if it had been for us, we'd have sprung for new linoleum, and the wall color would've been a light sage. But this is cheap and generic. Good enough and neutral is the name of the game here.
Here's a "before" and "during" of the exterior of the house. I don't have an "after yet because we are going to paint the steps black. I'll post that in a few days.

Here's a before, during (for 2 years), and after of the kitchen. I made the new valances myself (pats herself on back...).

So we found the Dorothy shoes at WalMart because we already had the dress and the bag. So what if she's never seen Wizard of Oz? How could she NOT be Dorothy?! By the way, thanks for youtube.com, she DID see it before we went anywhere in the costume. Call it research... :)

This outfit was Bekah's doing. Yeah, this is one to save and bring out when the boyfriends come over...
